Who provides the chalkboards?
All chalkboards are rentals. Chalkboards will be ready for you the day before your wedding, and must be returned within two days after the wedding (total 4 days). If you’d like to purchase a chalkboard sign, please contact me for pricing.

Is there a discount for providing my own chalkboards?
Pick-Up: You’re welcome to come pick up your chalkboards from me in Frederick, Maryland, where I am based.
Delivery: Free delivery (and pick-up) is included for customers within a 60-mile radius of Frederick, Maryland. Delivery to customers farther than 60 miles from Frederick will be considered on a case-by-case basis and includes a $10 charge for each additional 10 miles.
How do I get or pick up the chalkboards?
All wedding chalkboards must be returned within 2 calendar days.
You return: You are welcome to drop-off your chalkboards to me in Frederick, Maryland, where I am based.
I pick-up: Free pick-up is included for customers within a 60-mile radius of Frederick, Maryland. Customers farther than 60 miles from Frederick will be considered on a case-by-case basis for a $10 charge for each additional 10 miles.
How do I return or drop off the chalkboards?
Delivery/Pick-Up Fee: delivery and pick up is free to events within a 60-mile radius of Frederick, MD. For events outside of that radius, a delivery fee of $1/mile will be applied. Delivery and pick up cannot be guaranteed for events outside of that 60-mile radius.
Extended Rentals: Need your chalkboard for more time? You may add an additional day to your chalkboard rental for $5/day. This rate applies to orders needed sooner than one day prior to the wedding.
Extra Colors: Each chalkboard is done mainly in white chalk, and includes three accent colors of your choice. You may add additional colors to your chalkboard for $2 per color.
Are there any extra charges or costs?
Cancellations made between 60 and 45 calendar days prior to wedding or event will result in customer being charges 50% of the total order price, which is due and payable at the time of cancellation.
Cancellations made fewer than 45 calendar days prior to wedding or event will result in the full contracted amount being charged.

What's your cancellation policy?
Plans change, and I'll do what I can to accomodate - please let me know as soon as you can. A venue change could impact my ability to offer chalkboard delivery and pick-up serivces. A date change could impact chalkboard availability if I have another event booked on your new date.
What happens if our venue or date changes?
Questions about Chalkboards
Accidents happen. If a chalkboard becomes damaged at your event, please let me know as soon as you can. If the damage is severe enough that the chalkboard must be replaced, the customer will be responsible for the cost.
What happens if a chalkboard gets damaged at our event?
I am happy to do bilingual chalkboards or chalkboards in another language.
Simply provide me with the text you’d like and I’ll make it happen.
Can you do chalkboards in another language?
No, unfortunately the chalkboards will not withstand wetness. The chalk used is water-based liquid chalk, which will run upon contact with water.
Are your chalkboards water/rain-proof?
Not completely. Please be careful to not touch or rub the chalk.
